Yoga practices in the mornings and evenings 

Pranayama (breathing)

Asana (postures) 

Yoga Nidra Session (1 hr reclined Guided Meditation)

Discussion of Yamas and Niyamas -

Yogic philosophy for self care, living a healthy full life

Healthy Foods - 

Several meals are provided  

Other meals we'll decide together 

1 silent meal for practicing Mindfulness

Letting Go Ritual at the Fire Pit

Free time options include:

Hike on well manicured, mapped and marked trails.

Meditate in the woods

Treat yourself to a Massage

Relax in the Whirlpool and/or Sauna

Sit by the Lake, watch & listen to wildlife

Inspired by the principles of Yoga and authors like Brene Brown, Marianne Williamson, Tara Brach, and others, this retreat will help you safely not only explore these stories but begin writing a new conclusion which empowers you to create a life experience that includes more self-acceptance, more compassion, forgiveness, and patience with yourself (and as a result with others).   

The support and encouragement of other women seeking similar transformation can provide a comfortable environment in which to begin this journey.  We’ll unplug from daily obligations, spend time in nature w/ optional hiking, yoga, and mindfulness activities as well as delve into our self-exploration.  There will be an opportunity to share a talent if you so choose.  No pressure!

Mary Ellen Canane is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 30 years experience.  Mary Ellen also offers private sessions for anyone wishing to enhance the weekend with comprehensive, personalized attention dedicated to healing, rejuvenation or direction.

Leanne Allen is a RYT-200, Certified Yoga Instructor and Singer / Songwriter who will offer a daily yoga practice and will perform her original music, born of her own healing journey throughout the weekend.

Women's Retreats include yoga classes, time in nature, time for self-exploration and relaxation!

A gathering of women can provide a sense of kinship, comfort and validation as we appreciate each other’s life struggles and journeys. This retreat will be a time to support and encourage each other to live like we are fully alive, feeling worthy and empowered.
